Vilakas Bench

The Vilakas bench draws inspiration from elements of furniture designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s furniture designs. Charles Rennie Mackintosh used angular geometry in his later furniture. Incorporating angular geometry became an important component in the Vilakas bench. Constructed from walnut and red oak, the bench appears rigid. A woven cotton yarn incorporated into the piece brings a softness feature.
