The purpose of the project was to choose a hotel scheme and create a design that connects both location, scheme and design together. The location chosen was Amsterdam, Netherlands. The chosen hotel scheme was Boutique, which includes authentic, sleek, eccentric and local flavors into the design. In order to incorporate local flavor, a darkfloral wall paper inspired by the still life paintings of the Dutch Golden Age was chosen for the room.
